EmpowerHer Health Collective exists to ensure that every woman, mother, and child in underserved communities can access the quality healthcare they deserve.
Through partnerships with local healthcare providers, we deliver the resources, supplies, and support that make compassionate care possible, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
We believe healthcare is a human right, not a privilege. Every donation, every story shared, and every voice raised brings us closer to a future where no woman or child is turned away.

Our Story
Emily began her work in Uganda in 2012 and spent extended time there in 2013 supporting children in need. Her friends Kate and Sean were early supporters, helping provide sports equipment, school fees, and medical care. After Emily co-founded Grace Care Medical Center with Ugandan nurse Eron, they looked for ways to expand the impact. In 2025, Emily, Kate, and Sean founded EmpowerHer Health Collective to grow the mission and involve others.
Grace Care Medical Center's Journey
June 2022
Grace Care Medical Center opens its doors. Soon after, the first baby is born.
January 2023
Generous donors fund the purchase of an ultrasound machine.
December 2024
Patient care milestone reached: over 3,200 patients treated.
July 2025
Donors fund a generator, enabling life-saving care during power outages.
May 2026
Medical camp serves nearly 1,000 patients over three days.
